It is extremely unlikely there is a new owner. As DW said in the email the deal was unwound, which puts GRBG back in Bill White's hands. This is not the first undoing of a deal for BW & GRBG. Last time BW gave GRBG a 1000:1 Wash n Rinse(R/S), before the repeat.

The positive side of BW retaking the helm is that he will probably get the filings back up to date.
