Well IMO a good mayor would have supplied buses to shuttle people to safety-this is a local governments duty-even if they request help from the Feds. Bush doesn't know anymore than that there is a MANDATORY EVACUATION going on.

We get hit by this shit all the time and you don't see us sitting around waiting for Bush to come visit. The last super typhoon we had a direct hit from in 2002 left my business with out power for 7 weeks but we were up and running 2 days later...because we prepared. But it was miserable...
