I guess its par for the course, but its just so bizarre to have one public company announce the hiring of a new CFO, while the public company that CFO previously (or remains at until 6/11) worked for says nothing. So, the public knows that your CFO has now been hired by another firm, yet you say nothing about his current status at your firm, nor provide any information about the future of that position in your firm?

Ok, so maybe the reason is because there is something more to this than can be "announced" at this time, perhaps some relationship between the 2 companies as many have alluded to here. While that may be true, wouldn't it have made more sense then to hold back on the MORT announcement until such time as simultaneous announcements could be made by both companies? Fong isn't starting until 7/12 for MORT, so what was the rush to announce it yesterday IF there is going to be some connection between ATRN and MOTR?

It just is another in a long line of odd events to have an announcement by MOTR that it has hired Fong before ATRN even announces his status. I could understand if MORT announced after hours as they did, and ATRN had something out first thing this morning pre-market, but nothing yet? Very odd.
