they said that a few months ago. i took it to mean that they were setting up contract manufacturing to ensure adequate supply. sorta like an admission that they questioned their capacity.

my guess is that they had a lot of the developement and prototyping and testing done by an outside mfg. and has contracted with that outside mfg. for initial production while they ramp up their own, if indeed they end up doing production themselves. been there, done that.
