Look at the bottom indicators to "volume accumulation" and notice for the last three sessions, and on occasion before, that big selling occurs near the open. That action skews the on balance volume indicator downward. But the devious interpretation is that MMs are shortselling to fill someone's buy order imcrimentally during the rest of the day.
