Start Technologies (GWBU) Opens Research and Development Office in Bologna, Italy

Great Wall Bldrs Ltd (OTCBB:GWBU)
Intraday Stock Chart

Today : Monday 28 May 2012

Start Technologies Europe I.G. (OTCBB:GWBU) is pleased to announce that it has opened a new R&D facility to further new technology development for the Company. The choice of location is a natural one, given that Bologna is an important region for the automotive sector in Italy. In addition, this places the facility in close proximity to the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, with which the Company has close ties related to new technology development.

The 5100 square foot facility will house a mix of electronic engineers and technicians; mechanical engineers and technicians; engine testing specialist and administrative staff.

The facility will feature an in-house, climate-controlled, test lab that conforms to all necessary European specifications in order to ensure that new product developments remain in line with the homologation certification achieved by the Start FEED products, and allow for the sale of Start Fuel Efficiency and Emissions Device (FEED) products throughout the EU.

The initial primary focus of the facility will be to adapt and optimize the FEED units to a variety of the most popular engines used in the transportation industry, including;

TRUCKS
Iveco Model Stralis model 420-450-480-500-560
Volvo Model 480
Daf Model XF 105.460
MAN Model 410 TGA
Scania Model R380
Mercedes Model Actros

VANS
Mercedes model Sprint - Serie ML - Serie S Common Rail
Audi model Q7-Q5 common rail
Alfa Romeo model 159-166- Common Rail
Renault Modello Scenic 19 TDI

Previously conducted test through various third party testing facilities, potential distributors, governments and large fleet owners have shown improved mileage that varies from a minimum of 6% to 19%, depending on the average speed and the type of cargo being transported.

"Enquiries have begun streaming in regarding installation of our Start FEED units throughout clients' fleets, based on the positive test results they saw in various European locales." noted Company President and CEO, Daniele Brazzi. "The search for improved gas mileage has become a series of tiny, incremental improvements to achieve further efficiencies from internal combustion engines. Our technology represents a significant breakthrough that will translate to meaningful cost savings across large fleets of vehicles.

Another vital factor responsible for generating such interest relates to the dramatic reduction in emissions demonstrated in these tests, particularly diesel powered engines, that are extremely popular in Europe."

The Start Fuel Efficiency and Emissions Device (FEED)

The Company's FEED product line features proprietary, patent-pending, fuel-conditioning technology that reduces fuel consumption and polluting emissions, while increasing engine horsepower.

Start's patent-pending technology discharges a high-voltage electric current at a specified frequency and wavelength into fuel at ambient temperatures prior to its entry into the engine. Using a patent-pending, this high-voltage electric current breaks long-chain hydrocarbon molecules into shorter, lighter more volatile molecules.

This process is known as "cracking" in the petroleum refinery industry, where it is used to convert feedstock oil into gasoline, diesel and other products, including butanes, propane, propylene, ethane and methane.

When conventional gas and diesel fuels are reconditioned by the Start FEED unit, they become more flammable and burn more completely in the combustion chamber.
