Long post (LOL) =P

Personal accountability isn't something I learned until returning to college over a decade ago...(I'm 41)
I even studied some alternative stuff around that time frame and take it to another level. That I attract/repel people, events, circumstances, etc...Positive or negative I honestly believe that somehow on some level I must have desired the energy to learn from it.
I learned so much from March 2010 with having shares in WAMUQ and later all classes...I'd bought an extra 150,000 U's just to flip and they were up well over 300% and it was more money I've ever had in my life...However I WAS GREEDY!!! I wanted to be a millionaire. I believed from my own DD and the info I learned here, that it was a real possibility. I was a 3rd of a way there and the stock looked unstoppable. I went to work and got a call when we did a 50% fib retrace from a friend who also had shares, yet even at .50 I didn't sell. Two days later in the .40's I saw it look tipsy to the downside and then we all know what happened. I saw more red in my account in seconds than I ever had. I tried buying above the ASK as it fell from .12's to below .10 and I got nothing. I felt something was going on and just closed my computer and walked away. (LOL) I sold those later (.18-.20) after adding on another dip and moved mostly into the preferreds and reduced the amount I was invested in WaMu stocks.
I finally LEARNED from my experience and did something about it. I changed my approach and took responsibility for my choices.

It reminds me of a story I heard about a soldier in the Navy I believe that got into trouble because he wouldn't carry out his orders to dump barrels of what I can't remember into the ocean. He was a surfer and had RESPECT and took personal responsibility even though it got him in trouble.
I understand the need to follow orders but that doesn't let someone off the hook for doing the wrong thing and doing the right thing doesn't mean there are no consequences.
I do want to say THANK YOU to all our service men and women who give so much of themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually that allows ME to have the FREEDOM to be able to write this and share it with others...Happy Memorial Day weekend.
Time to BBQ and appreciate the things I've got and to remember the past without letting it steer the direction of the future. ABUNDANCE to ALL and thanks Catz for 'lighting' this up in me to remember personal responsibility/accountability. I forget the most simple and basic things sometimes.
