I never said that NNVC would go bankrupt in a month or even a year. But if after three years there is still no drug proven to work in people NNVC will be in world of pain. Given that the most predictable thing in biotech is delays and the second most predictable thing is disappointing test results, I don't think it is unreasonable to assign a probability of bankruptcy that is well above say, 20%. OTOH, if NNVC succeeds its stock price will be worth many multiples of what it is now. So in my own view its a worthwhile gamble, but again, not something you should be spending money on that you can't afford to lose.
