"I want to get this off my mind though. Seems as though market makers have been a hot topic lately and what some think they know. I will say this, I used to work for a public company and personally knew a market maker for that company a few years ago. He knew nothing. He got his information just like anyone else. So if anyone think market market makers are in the know, not the one I knew."

I'm quite sure the public company you worked for was a legitimate one and the MM you knew scrupulous. But there are "friendly" market makers all too willing and anxious to make a market for certain companies they represent, assuming their price for "services rendered" is agreed. They will walk the pps up, drop it, repeat from the top, all the while "servicing" their clients. I have no idea if that's the case with cdex and its MM(s?), but do not forget Starke & Co and the just t'riffic market they made for boonie/baker/loch "and others."
