OK, bum deal on COIN "phase 2" play, so bailed on that play and will restart "phase 1" over again in my game account. Let's try a triple-zero stock with USNL from .0008 to .0016.

As a disclaimer and explanation...this forum is only for the silly "phase" trading game. I have a separate trading account just for this game. These are not the only trades I make, and sometimes I am trading the same stock in my main trading account as well (or not). Trying to hit a 100% gain from entry is obviously a long-shot. Trying to hit it 10 times in a row is even more crazy, but that's what makes it a fun game, right?
Having to restart whenever I lose money on a "phase" attempt is part of the game. If I don't lose money on the phase attempt, then I can retry that same phase, but deciding to take a loss (as with COIN) means I have to start over with the previous phase again. In this case, that is the first, $1000 phase.

So, I have "at least" $1000 in USNL as a "phase 1" attempt to hit 100% gains. If anybody cares, I actually have more than that in USNL with more conservative targets, but will try to ride at least that $1000 to a double and sell for $2000. If I bail early (even with a gain), then that means another phase 1 attempt for the game. If I succeed, then that $2000 in my game account goes to play a "phase 2"-- another attempt at 100%

As you can see, it's a silly game, but can be fun to imagine hitting 10 successful 100% phases. That makes $1000 into just over $1,000,000 which is absolutely ridiculous odds. If that were my only trading strategy, I'd be out of my mind. But alas, it is not. The "smart" trading strategy is to take smaller profits on a more regular basis, and that is what I try to do with my main trading account.

I hope that makes sense for the 1 or 2 people reading this (or maybe nobody is reading this, which is fine too, since it is just for fun).

I am not a promoter or professional stock trader. I'm a regular guy who enjoys stock trading to make (or lose) a few dollars. I am only responsible for my own trading foibles, not yours...do your own DD.
