GreenCell, Inc. (OTCBB: GCLL), a company that develops, commercializes and markets UltraTemp™ ceramic composite materials for home and transportation applications, has recently announced that they have developed the technology with their UltraTemp-C property to make a safer and easier the maintain fuel cell that produces a cheaper kilowatt, giving the user a low overall cost of ownership.
UltraTemp™, a ceramic composite material based upon ceramic fiber/ceramic matrix combinations, bridges a gap left by current products. It has virtually endless uses, but is being targeted initially by GreenCell for igniters, oxygen sensors and fuel cells. According to Global Industry Analysts, Inc., Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) are estimated to reach $240.6 million a year globally by 2015, driven by SOFCs holding enormous potential for low cost, and clean energy/electricity generation from currently available fossil fuels.
