Ceeker; there are a number of foreign pink stocks that are real businesses (just like KMAG) that do not have the problems KMAG has with short selling and manipulation. Examples REXMY @$31.72, HENKY at $57.53, NINOY @$280.01 etc. These are large foreign companies that see no need to pay for all the paperwork and expense that comes with being on a big board. What's the difference between them and KMAG with regards to manipulation? It is than none of them have a recent history of a parabolic rise of 2800% (0.0008 to 0.023 in KMAG's case) during which hundreds of millions of shares could be accumulated by well- off individuals or sophisticated groups at very low prices.
Between Feb 23 and March 9, KMAG traded between 0.0008 and 0.0027.
During that time a total of 1 Billion 400 million shares were traded. Granted some were flipped etc, but if even 10% of those "cheapos" are still in the hands of the original buyers, that is 140 million shares. If I was one of those manipulators and had say 20 million shares at an average cost of say 0.0015, I wouldn't need to sell short. I could sell say 1 million in 200K tranches at today's price of $0.005 and keep lowering the ask and scare out "weak hands" and still be making money. Then when I wanted, I could use whatever technical signals that are convenient to buy in again and push the price back up. Rinse and repeat. Hopefully, during each one of these cycles, more and more shares will get into the hands of "investors" and the manipulators will eventually loose the ability to do what they are doing today. This is why I think KMAG will have its work cut out for it in the near future, but will eventually rise as long as fundamentals keep improving and more of the float gets into the hands of investors.
