I seems to me that if Viper does start selling through one of these US outlets, there will be a price drop across the board simply do to competition.

But if Viper already is making them in the states, there are no import taxes therefore making the cost to retailer much lower than the other two manufactures.

This in turn makes for a cheaper cost to the consumer and getting them into the homes for people to see the cost saving due to lower power usage, and isn't that what it is all about.
