At times, a person might make a commitment to invest in a company. Let's theorize that The company is in a bad way, it needs a lot of help and the risks are high.
When it is time to take the profit, how much has that person gone through that has helped that company to get to where the company needed to be to survive?
If the investor needs a large profit from the current price per share, does that necessarily make that investor greedy? It is all in the eyes of the beholder. some know the true costs to that investor and some have no fin clue whatsoever.
Don't take anybody's word for what you are responsible to know and never "invest" more than you can afford to lose.
