The fires really have NO IMPACT on the gold star. For years upon years, the fires have affected those areas, but the gold still remains. I think Warmy said it best. LOL...

Actually what I think will happen is that a flood will wash all of the gold into a nice neat pile right next to the main claim road. Then a fire will come through, melt and refine it to .9999 fine, cooling to 1 oz. bars, convenient for transport.
