In 2001, Dr. Chavis co-founded the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network along with Russell Simmons and he continues to serve as CEO and Co-Chairman of this widely respected and influential organization. He was the subject of the 2010 feature film "Blood Done Sign My Name" chronicling his early civil rights movement days. Today, Dr. Chavis is also President of Education Online Services Corporation and works with colleges and universities across the United States
