OT/DD. Although no survey details were given(who did the survey, who'd they ask, how many, etc.), John Dvorak has a contrarian survey concerning mobile video in his Inside Track of the latest PC Mag issue:

"Researching the Obvious Department: Apparently a research report indicated that only one person in eight would be interested in receiving mobile video via cell phone. It will be interesting to see how much money will be lost developing something people do not care about."

That's the full quote. Nothing about who commissioned the survey, why, etc.

Note: Dvorak has been known to be wrong on a number of occasions with his "visionary" tech analysis. Take this with a grain of salt.
