ajtj: If New Orleans had done as good a job of dike building as the Netherlands and the pumps were in great shape, we wouldn't have seen the flooding...

They needed to have the over capacity to handle this both in structural soundness of the levies and in height. And, over capacity and structural soundness with the pump system.

It seems neither were in place...

Anyone want to guess as to which countries come to our aide?
