Morning Volatility Report

The scenario mentioned yesterday worked out to a tee: more down into a high tick reading, and then choppy with an upward bias.

There was medium volatility in the major indices yesterday. Currently there is a small gap in the futures. So no clues based on volatility conditions.

The retail index had an NR7 low volatility day, a normal situation after the previous day's wide range day.

My first play of the day will be to fade the gap, probably after we at least tag the globex (premarket) futures highs.
