I would never pretend to know as much about stock as many on this board since I am rather new to this "addiction," but I do know that if a merger with a company with decent revenue goes through that's a fair bet - and I do know quite a bit about media, and user-generated is always good...in light of shrinking for-profit news agencies, something like this could be in-line with citizen journalism initiatives that are springing up around the country - newspapers are radically cutting staffs and tightening their belts to make profits, and citizen journalism projects are thriving (see the Rapidian in Grand Rapids, Michigan as an example in my hometown - The New York Times has citizen journalism outlets, as many other agencies do) - and there will be a need for that type of thing online for these communities as well. Smartly produced, localized video productions that covers stories that aren't sexy enough for the local TV stations to run but can serve communities, offer alternative perspectives, etc., etc. The real key is to give a voice to people because people simply want to be involved, want to have a voice. I know I am running on here but I speak from some academic authority - my point is, something like this could work and I don't see it like many other things where you are just watching watching re-runs of The Office or kittens doing weirdly odd things.
