Transactionally there may be some truth in this post, however Belize Oilwatch does not understand real property law. You do not lose acreage when you sell interests in your concession. It is akin to a tenancy in common, you still own a percentage of every molecule of the concession. You are agreeing to divvy up the oil profits not the acreage. Ergo most of this post is shear nonsense. Oiljob

Treaty has a working interest in 3.5 million acres (just in Belize). That is gargantuan.
