Because if they bought on the open market they would have to pay for shares ( not trade shares for money with the company as they have been.) If they bought on the open market in vast amounts as they now hold, the share price would go up, thus paying higher and higher as they bought.
Like you said IMO they have a deal.... money for shares worked out with the company. one shot. no need to buy on open market thus wanting to be fully transparent
Now they have the stock what are they going to do with it all? Like you said, no one gives millions of dollars for worthless paper, so they know something we don't that will make that paper worth a whole lot more to them then the millions they gave the company. makes ya think what huh? lol but all JMO. I'm loaded and waiting.
