IMO you have no need to defend yourself. You have been around for a long time and realize that the only way to make money is to sell stocks, not buy and hold and hold and hold.

I am also concerned about the MM's dropping off and I am surprised that people see this as a good thing.

Maybe someone will explain why they think it is.
