Big deal that GEOY is offering $17 a share for the buyout of DGI, MAC, overnight it is now $17.34, LOL, 28% gain for some folks who were holding.....8:21 AM Satellite imagery company GeoEye (GEOY) offers to buy rival DigitalGlobe (DGI) for $792M in a cash-and-stock deal that would create the world's largest fleet of commercial imagery satellites. The total consideration of $17/share is a 26% premium to DGI's Thursday closing price. GEOY +4.2%, DGI +27.9% premarket.
