I'm glad to report that I signed up with Scrambls today for the first time. The following is a tip that others can use to introduce friends to Facebook and other social media sites. At least this is what I did today...
My first post today on Facebook was encrypted through scrambls so nobody could read it unless they already used the service. It read, "If you'd like to control who sees your private messages and pictures, including the prying eyes of Facebook, then go to scrambls.com and sign up for their free browser based encryption service. This new technology is cool."
I then went back and left a follow-up post in clear English that read, "Let me know if you'd like me to decrypt this message, or just go to scrambls.com and join the movement to protect our privacy."
We should all use an approach along these lines to help scrambls go viral. Of course, Facebook is by far the best venue, and I expect to receive a fair number of enquiries.
PS - For those if you checking this ihub site, it's really quite easy to sign up with scrambls.
