Subject: So Great to be SHORT
I missed the whole money making opportunity of trading short in 2001-2002 ... because I still couldn't get myself to trade short. I now look back at that period and shake my head.
Was just telling my brother last week (who still doesn't short) that it's like driving your car with the rule that you can only steer your car to the right. Seems only right, too, because in "that world", 99% of all the drivers only steer to the right. Then, you finally realize you can steer your car both right AND left. And, that changes everything. No longer is there a "good" and "bad" market. It ALL becomes good. All you have to do is figure out what is the direction of the trend ... just like before.
This has been a public service announcement for investors who have not yet learned to trade short.
