Cannabis Science Inc. (OTC: CBIS), a development-stage company focused on the development of pharmaceutical grade medical cannabis products, earlier this week announced that it was a sponsor and exhibitor at the 7th national Patients Out of Time medical cannabis conference. The conference was held Tucson, Arizona and was attended by patients, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, professors, supporters and entrepreneurs of the medical cannabis industry.
CBIS said that it received some encouraging feedback by various representatives in the medical community during the conference. CBIS also collected data from attendees interested in CBIS Stock. The company saw significant interest in its new branding platform.
Dr. Robert Melamede, CEO of Cannabis Science, noted that things have never been better for CBIS and this was confirmed at the conference over the past weekend. Dr. Melamede said that not only CBIS was part of a historic event, but the amount of consciousness and knowledge gained by everyone attending will also shape the medicinal science of the industry going forward.
CBIS shares, which have seen huge activity in the last one month, are marginally lower in early trading today. At last check, the stock was down 2.55% to $0.0955 on volume of 2.56 million.
