For those that have Ameritrade and are concerned about the DTC chill here is the response I just received directly from Ameritrade.

We will allow closing transactions on these securities like BRZL even though no opening transactions are allowed for an indefinite amount of time as long as the security is still trading.


The only thing that will prevent you from being able to close out one of these stocks under the DTC Chill would be if the stock were to become delisted and valueless and stop trading altogether; but, as long as it still have value, you can sell it to close out your position in BRZL or any other stocks you hold that are under the DTC Chill.
