Does anybody know the firm referred to and has anyone checked out exactly what they do?

Based on Sean Marconi's email address appearing on the confirmation page when you sign up for VODG's email alerts, I am assuming that the firm VODG hired in January/February is Wall Street Resources, Inc (The WSR Group).

One interesting thing is that the email address is Sean's "personal" email rather than his WSR Group email. According to Sean's LinkedIn profile, he is no longer associated with WSR Group. I believe this occurred relatively recently (perhaps within the last month). So I am not sure if VODG is still using WSR Group, or if Sean is handling VODG's account by himself on an independent basis.
