Been digging around ok here is what I can find.
This firm has about 18=19 million in account due to them.
And about 8 million the owe..
But this is the how and why fore that I have been able to find..
Ok SMF did an internal audit and found that they had been adding
a extra charge to some of their accounts. One of them was with
the us postal service. Well they went to the government and said hey we found out we may of been overcharging you all. They find out at that point that the Gov was looking into the charges already.
Now with this going on the decided to restructure the way they charge
and started to loose money so it is said. Now how that can be not sure. If I offer a service and someone is willing to pay great if not find someone else to do business with. imho. But anyway they have this loss of income. So they figure they will just dump the non profitable assets all of them but Texas. Smell money there hey..
Yeah so do I. Well with the stated losses and the Government
looking into them The Bank says foul we want out.. But wait they
can not do it if they did that they would lose a lot of cash in the deal.. Soo they go into BK and start this sale of assets. Now we have already seen the 9 million offer on the table as a stalking bid.. Remember this just sets the bottom Bid. There are going to be
some parties that want this and how much they want to pay for it
I would look at the past profits. less a fine from the Gov ..
But by no means is this program going to shut down there are just way to many firms that use them.. Now I have to dig around into the Texas side of things and see what they are up to there.
As for the yahoo poster saying the SEC called them a fraud. Well I can't find anything on that yet so if anyone has a link plz pass along.
Pilot..
So far so good.
