I had a look at Dell's XPS line including the 13 inch Ultrabook.
I'm impressed with the line and the different selling approach. Dell isn't offering the usual gazillion hardware options on these products - they typically offer three models with fixed hardware options. The other options are accessories and software. It's simpler to purchase a computer.

I prefer a lot of options but their approach probably simplifies ordering for the vast majority of customers and simplifies manufacturing and logistics.

I have a Dell XPS M1330 which is an older generation of the 13 inch XPS. It's a great laptop and my wife uses it. It's small, fairly light and gets the job done. I just wish that it had a high-resolution screen.
