Yes, expecting a developmental stage company to hit every target date in their 5 year plan is asking too much. You might not be aware, since you were in the services and not a developmental stage company, when you start a business you make a 1,5 and 10 year plan. They are guidelines for how you think the business is gonna play out. Another thing you might not realize, again because you are not an entrepreneur, is that a business plan always changes. You literally have to go back to the plan as you develop the company and make changes because depending on how things play out the end result could be much different.

For example. Gen 1, clothing right? no. That's what he originally thought. Now we have a technical fiber. That changes how you go about utilizing and pricing gen 2. It also changes a lot of other things. Such as"who can I get the most money up front so I can stop utilizing venture capital" you know venture capital. That thing where people invest a a drastically reduced rate compared to the market.

Oh wait, we never even had that.
