Interactive brokers, and a handful of offshore brokers will let you short absolutely anything. Anyone that claims these stocks can not be sold short is just not correct.

I used to think the same thing. Do about 20 minutes or research and you will find that everything can be shorted even sub penny stocks at .0001 can be sold short.

Maybe you can not short because of your account and broker but several can.
