Wolf, can we have a look at the future? SGCP, apart from mining and agriculture, leased 112,500 acres of land for 50 years to start up operations in the carbon emissions and biomass market by the Paulownia plantation. Short term we can forget the chance to forward sale the SL1 project due to the softness of the market and the difficulties in modalities for CDM A/R projects ( Tcers&Icers). It doesn't stop SGCP to expand the project and the further they advance the more chance they have, in the future, to generate carbon credits. But let's forget those credits for a while. It wouldn't be fair to judge the success of the plantation only by those credits. There's more, such as biomass and timber. Apart from SGCP having the intention to sell the timber to the Asian market we have no further information how they plan to expand and to finance the project. I hope to tell more if John decides to release the information I asked him. From the CDA SGCP/BCSI, I remember BCSI has an option to participate in the project. When you have the time, have a look at Luc Duchesne, owner of BCSI, and his forestry related companies. Sierra Leone urgently needs electricity you know. By the way NSUResources (formerly BCSI) recently entered into a sales agreement with GROC. Business? I'll post the link.
