Well said, and excellent point. I didn't put it all together exactly like that, and the last point you made makes me feel better and makes a lot of good sense.

For playing the news, a good example is; I used to play a lot of drug company stocks and bought prior to FDA deadlines. And I always sold before the deadline in case of bad news.
