I have not posted in a very long time...My 2 cents..
I will lurk the boards for news time to time and thought I would post my thoughts.. from experience. In 1984 I met with a man dressed in a suit wearing tennis shoes he wanted me to see a new product his was going to be selling here in the states and was in need of promotional materials. To my surprise when visiting the warehouse I saw this futuristic product, I could not believe what I was seeing. I was sworn to secrecy by law, it was a television 2.5 to 3 " thick, yes the first flat screens to hit US soil. 1984! I say again year 1984. It was not until almost 10 years after actually I think Pioneer started selling it in 1996-1997 the plasma for around $16,000 or so. What happened? big money and politics would not allow it period! It would of caused complete panic, All the crts in stores would be worthless or drop in price and we still had CRT flat screens that where not to market yet ( flat screens were CRT's with an actual Flat glass front screen) millions of dollars of inventory I say. The man simply had to lock them up and could not sell a one. The next thing I came across was just 10 years ago, a manufacture in china (actually at the time the worlds number 3 producer of electronics) and you most likely would not come close to guessing. They had about 4 to six products for the automotive market. A back-up live camera so you could see behind your vehicle, a motion control device to KEEP you and warn you when drifting in your lane when driving. A really cool device that actually took control of you braking system and would not allow you to run in to anything on the road ahead of you ( like a car, a turtle, a deer running at full speed at an intercept to the vehicle from off the road.) yep thats right it could calculate at micro seconds of the blink of an eye, anything you could possibly hit on the road, take control of your car and always stop you safely under any road condition completely analyzing road surface, speeds tracking, you name it. Ok OK I just started seeing some of the devices just in the past month be advertised on the most prestigious cars, but not all. You will see... Why you ask ..... Big money! What would insurance do? body repair shops? HMMMMMM. So yes I still have shares of imgg because you just never know!
