Had a nice talk with a fellow investor after the meeting who is a retired Mobil Oil man with direct oilfield exploration experience. He says he follows this board some but I don't think on a continuous basis so I want to share his thoughts.

He told me had been a reservoir engineer, and other duties I can't remember, and he did make decisions for Mobil on where to drill. He commented on our Phase I well that had the major kick and said he thought SNP/ADX was extremely lucky to have escaped it with no major incident. He mentioned something I did not remember about flow rates being given of 30K one day and 20K the next (must have been gas flow rate since everyone says no oil discovered at any time during Phase I). He then commented on how this well was drilled deeper than all the others. He said where we are drilling the shelf drops off pretty good and he thought the wells didn't quite go deep enough to hit the good stuff.

He said ADX really had very little deepwater experience as all their wells in Nigeria up to JDZ were shallow water and SNP was really just a refiner and didn't know squat about deep water. He thought this was reflected in the Phase I lack of success.

Bottom line: he still believes JDZ could be very lucrative.

Wish I remembered his name on this board. If he reads this, hope he corrects anything I got wrong. Also want to thank him for taking the time to share his thoughts with me.
