Billcoln,

Thanks. I have been somewhat shocked by the level of dishonesty and paranoia on this board. I mean, how in the world these people would think that I would show up and post with multiple aliases and then cut and paste my posts under different names but without removing the signature is beyond me.

Having now seen first hand what happens when you simply provide information that isn't all sunshine and pretty flowers I have to wonder what kind of people are the primary posters on these boards.

The answer is sadly obvious. Folks that can only make money in the markets by taking advantage of folks that probably shouldn't be investing in the first place. Some of the posts even make me wonder if these aren't adults at all, but pimply faced kids that have $50 bucks worth of lunch money in play.

I remember the first time someeone...Sosa I think it was, came to the conclusion that I was nlightn1 because I used semi-colons in my posts. Unbelievable.

I'm half tempted to walk away from this forum because it is depressing to see how willing people are to bilk other people. But then I think, if I can provide sound intelliigence that helps people make informed decisions, whatever they may be, I should do so if nothing else to help people see both sides...the rose-colored glasses viewpoint of the folks that are looking for the easy mark and the factual side that shows people the strengths and weaknesses of this opportunity.

To be honest, I was really disappointed when I dug into this more deeply. At one time I thought ASNAP, not UMA was going to be the likely winner. But then I saw the difference in the approaches of the two companies and the willingness of the UMA group to work with other big technology companies and the momentum that UMA gained as handset manufacturers and access point manufacturers all announced support for the common standard.

If people understand ALL the issues and see where the real motivation for using hybrid handset technology lies, I think the right decision becomes self-evident.
