The page 6 information works out quite well with the 86% conversion rate.


20 tons = 40000 lbs

40,000 lbs * .86 = 34,400 lbs of fuel.

34,400 / 7.8 lbs/gal for #6 = 4410 gal of #6 fuel.


I do wonder where that approximately 10 lbs per gallon number came from.

The future's so bright I have to wear shades.
