Some brokers WILL let you purchase stocks that are on the DTCC list. Fidelity for instance does, and I use Fidelity to trade DTCC chilled stocks, including MMTE. If the stock is on the DTCC Chill List though, T.D. Ameritrade WILL NOT let you buy it:
