Some brokers don't cover all the fee's involved in transferring shares. I have 3 different accounts, (E-trade, scottrade, Zecco) often times I can purchase shares with one broker that another has listed as restricted usually do to the fact they get stuck with huge fee's to handle that stock charging the broker an additional fee daily until the purchase clears. When restricted shares are purchased a broker sometimes passes these fee's down to the purchaser for usually a daily fee till the trade clears. Often times it has little to do with the company itself and more to do with the broker. I own fogc with Scottrade and Zecco neither has them listed as restricted.
