I can tell you it has caused me to ask many more questions and to seek out a deeper understanding...to boldly go....as it were.There is another stock out there this morning, a known and easily verifiable P&D which is outpacing everything TIVU has done in the past month.I am asking myself why I am not throwing quatloos at it and I see that it matters to me what I think of the company.
Some would say I am foolish. If it is making a profit, why does it matter to me? I am at a loss for an efficient way to articulate it, but it matters to me. Perhaps a good idea with a crummy spokesman is somehow better than a lousy idea with a great spokesman. If I was a day-trader I wouldn't even have time to get philosophical about anything, either I'd be winning or losing. End of story, right?
For sure, I can see I need to learn much more about market makers, their techniques and motivations. On some level, logic must come into play,but in the area of investments such as these things which should create clear supply/demand behaviors does not. So it is not so much about John Q. as it is about Gordon G.
