Sadly even if they halted it on day 1 traders would lose 100's of thousands to millions of dollars. With the amount of volume generated by their plays they really don't even need to pump beyond day 1 to make a fortune. Especially considering they got the shares for a song and a dance.
I get the impression that many traders don't realize the promoters are always selling.
The only way to stop them from making anything would be to stop the promo before it even starts.
Not sure exactly how the SEC/Finra could do that efficiently/ethically.
If they halt a stock like SNPK at this point it isn't APS who suffers. They're probably shareless or nearly so by now. Even if they aren't no big deal. We're the ones with all the capital in it now. From .30c on up to $2.40. They have no capital in to lose...well minimal I'm sure. What's the real value of an SNPK share?
