In my opinion I believe that the government will allow the companies to create these products with the private money so they don't have to pay for it. If they want to enter this industry they would have to legalize this on the federal level which will be a couple of years at least away. They will wait until all the states legalize it and then the pressure will become to much and they will realize how much money can be made and they will finally legalize it themselves and just tax the crap out of it. I don't believe the federal government can get in the business of any drugs legal or not. It will be the same as alcohol and tabacco they will just tax the crap out of it and let the private companies profit and spend the money to patent certain formulations such as CBIS's formulations. I hope this makes a little sense. This is obviously just my opinion. The stigma of medical marijuana will change dramitcally in the next couple of the years. I believe it will cure cancer someday and it won't be in the smoking manner it will be in the grinding and creame part of the plant. gltu
