Just got off the phone with Nouveau. This time it was Cindy I spoke with (she was the first one I ever spoke with a while back). My calls kept getting dropped initially (on my cell.) so within a very short span of time my calls were answered by Chrissy, Brittney, and Cindy. There are indeed people answering the phone there.

Cindy was very helpful. I laid it out for her exactly why I was calling. I mentioned that I've been in contact with Walgreens and spoken with representatives in both their puchasing and legal depts. I mentioned that the vendor agreements claimed by Nouveau have been denied by Walgreens. I mentioned that there might be legal action taken if it's warranted. I mentioned that no one from Nouveau ever returns calls.

Cindy said she hears that all day, every day. I then said that this ought to prove something to her and to everyone there - that if they are hearing this from virtually everyone who calls then their business is never going to get off the ground, if in fact it's legit in the first place; people will give up on them at the rate things are going. She told me that this (i.e. her job answering the phone, and in particular - fielding the same type of calls day in and day out, expressing disbelief, frustration, and even anger) - is something "you do for your kids".

This is the first sign I've seen from them that has caused me to think that there is something actually going on there. Why else would someone endure this day after day? Although management never returns calls, at least their receptionists answer every call on the first ring, so can it be a total scam if they're at least picking up the phone?

Cindy told me that Mr. Cadena and "Nancy" were in a meeting, but that I should leave a "stern" message for Nancy indicating that this is the last chance to return my calls or else I'll take some other sort of action (with Walgreens, etc.). She even seemed to agree that management needs to hear this so that they stop ignoring people. Act? Bluff? I don't know but it seemed real... she seemed real.

So I've left a "stern" message for Nancy to not take me lightly and to call back. In it I laid out the facts, that:

1. Calls are never returned.
2. Walgreens denies the existence of any vendor-agreements between Nouveau Life Pharmaceuticals and Walgreens
3. Walgreens' legal dept. has been notified and may be investigating.
4. This is a very poor way to do business - no communication, no transparency, and shady press releases that appear to be inaccurate.

Let's see if she responds this time.
