BS, March 13, 2012 a majority of the board of directors of the Company approved the divesture of the Company’s subsidiary, Airline Intelligence Systems Inc.
As far as the value of Airline Intelligence, here is a fact:
Salman Ullah co-founder of Merus Capital who was VP of Corporate Development at Google, where he spent three years managing a worldwide team responsible for all (as in all) of Google's acquisitions and investments, had invested 5 millions usd in the old company.
Mr Ullah invested $5 million into AI Systems, via his own Venture Capital firm, which is in essence mostly his and his partners money (and yes these guys made gazillions before forming Merus Capital).
Using his "own money," in our opinion, speaks VOLUMES about how much he likes the situation. We might even venture to say he "really, really" likes it.
This then logically lead us to believe that had Mr. Ullah not retired from Google (potentially cashing out on who knows how many millions in Google stock) and if he was still working there as head of acquisitions -- that in all likelihood -- he would have had made an investment in AI Systems on behalf of Google Meaning you would see a press release headline saying:
"Google Invests $5 Million in Airline Software Start-up AI Systems.
