Personally, I never say a word to anyone about my investment activities. Some of my friends would act without doing their own DD and would assume my word was good enough rationale for them to invest. Even if something like TIVU went to the moon, I do not want any responsibility for any poor money management they might use to justify putting their hard-earned money in the same place I do.

I have seen 30+ year friendships ruined over things less sensitive than money and I will not jeopardize any of my relationships over money either.

I will, however, discuss the finer points of better brews and single malt scotches..even Sorian brandy with Mr. Scott.
