Today saw 36% short-selling which, in the end, made the pps drop by only $0,005. Hardly worth the shorting, right?

Had they bought shares and just let the pps run, they could have made more money IMO
But it looks like some shorties needs to short, even when all signs say 'no'.
The stock will run, like it always does.
And the right PR at the right time, should then keep it at a decent level.
