You know how Agents and Managers are.
They will work all the Major players in order to get their artist the best signing contract, as well as best % of sales, (all the while, really looking out for themselves as well)
Now.........How many Millions, or even Billions of dollars of sales have been lost Partly due to the industry not having in place, 100%, an acceptable level of copyright protection?
What is acceptable? 1st - the artists do NOT want sound quality compromised in any way - MediaMax qualifies.
Next - iPod compatible - MediaMax qualifies - Apple better get their stuff together.
Lastly - Playable in all types of players, and allows reasonable number of copies to be made - MediaMax qualifies.
And, at NARM you know how large a presence of Retailers, all who are hurt by the massive problem of how easy it is to burn CD's, and this is one of the greatest problems with dropping sales. THEY want a problem with LOW customer problems - MediaMax qualifies.
