again it's just like the government.
The U.S. has been debasing it's currency for over 100 years. Yet we have tons of growth. So far we have had controlled inflation and for the most part with the exception of the 70's our growth has outpaced our debasement.

The same thing happens in a stock. If you dilute like the U.S. it means growth. If you dilute like zimbabwe it's bad. As a company grows and can attract a larger investment base and greater market cap they can 'afford' more dilution. If they use the money raised in dilution wisley and get in return, less debt, more growth then it is a positive thing for the company.

Example. Let's say CBIS used all 750 million shares in the A/S but then they use that money to get through FDA fast track and clinical trails. There will be twice as much shares, therefore half the value of today but anywhere between 100-500 times the value. Maybe more.
